Zuberi was an evolved chimpanzee who was held at Gen-Sys Laboratories for experimental research into the "ALZ-113", which greatly enhanced his intelligence. He was then liberated and lived in freedom with other apes, eventually marrying Vanessa and having two children, Sokwe and Zira. His death is unknown but it was most likely natural causes.
