Wyn was a resident of the human 'Skintown' district of the city of Mak. During the ape crackdown on the human population, Wyn was captured and placed in one of the 'Retraining Facilities' that were in effect concentration camps. He escaped from the camp but was severely wounded and had to be nursed back to health by Brother Kale.
Many years later, as the humans regrouped for a counter assault, Wyn was the mysterious scarred 'half man' spotted around Mak. He abducted Julian - the son of human leader Sullivan, but who had been raised by ape leader Alaya - and returned him to Sullivan. Wyn was killed during the climactic battle for control of Mak, which resulted in the complete destruction of the city.
