Changes: Urko (Animated)

Urko survived from the TV series but in a different incarnation.

General Urko was the greedy and ambitious Chief of Security who worked alongside Zaius and hoped to destroy both the humanoids and the Underdwellers and take charge of Ape City himself. After hearing rumours of intelligent humanoids, Urko began a hunt during which he captured the astronaut Bill Hudson ("Bright Eyes"), who was handed over to Zira and Cornelius.

Notes

The 2017 short story anthology Planet of the Apes: Tales from the Forbidden Zone included a tale in which Urko dies during 3980, when he tries to invade the lair of the Underdwellers.
