  • Bright Eyes is captured from Africa and taken to Gen-Sys for experiments.[1] During the skirmish, Alpha is killed by poachers.[3]
  • Verdon, another chimp taken from Africa, is shot after attempting to escape.[3]
  • Caesar is born. Bright Eyes is killed after going on a rampage during a board meeting to approve the ALZ-112 drug for human trials. As a result, the ALZ-112 project is shut down and Jacobs orders the remaining apes to be euthanized.[1]
  • Will Rodman takes the orphaned Caesar to live with him and his father, Charles.[1]
  • Cornelia is born.

  • In the Baltic States demostrations on goverment medical practices occour.[7]

  • Mass deaths in the Middle East as the Third World struggles to contain spread.[7]

  • The Battle of Muir Woods Park begins after an Alpha-Omega platoon attacks an ape outpost. Despite casualties on both sides, the apes are victorious. Caesar spares five soldiers so they can return a message of peace to Colonel McCullough.[9]
  • The Colonel and several soldiers sneak into Ape Waterfall and assassinate Blue Eyes and Cornelia, the latter was wrongly believed to be Caesar.[9]
  • The Human-Ape War ends. After he and the San Francisco Ape Colony makes it to an oasis, Caesar dies.[9] That night they have Caesar's funeral.[17]
  • Maurice decides to recount and chronicle Caesar's story.[18]

  • An unknown human writes stories from the war.[9]

  • At this time, apes have become fully sentient and the dominant species on Earth, and humans have regressed into primitives.[17]
