Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes is a 2016 comic book crossover miniseries combining Boom! Studios Planet of the Apes and Dark Horse Comics' Tarzan franchise. The series was written by David F. Walker and Tim Seeley, with art by Fernando Dagnino and edited by Scott Allie.

Summary

In an alternate take on Escape from the Planet of the Apes, Cornelius, Zira and Dr. Milo arrive in late 1800s Africa instead of 1970s Los Angeles. There, they become leaders of the Mangani and end up becoming the adoptive parents of Tarzan. Tarzan and Caesar are raised as brothers, but when humans come to the jungle, they are separated by the ape slave trade. Additionally, space-time anomalies unleashed by time-traveling have allowed the flying reptilian Mahars of the hollow earth realm of Pellucidar to threaten all of time.
