Swamped was a short story printed in Brown & Watson's 1975 'Planet of the Apes' Annual, featuring the characters from the Planet of the Apes TV series and spot illustrations by John Bolton.

Synopsis[]

Urko's gorillas have been closing in on the three fugitives until finally, caught in a thick swamp, they are trapped and captured. Escaping from the ape camp during the night, the chase is on again but when Urko gets trapped in quicksand Galen persuades the others to rescue him, and in return Urko agrees to give them a head-start before beginning the hunt again.
