Doctor Stanton was a scientist who lived during the latter half of the 20th century. He developed an astronomical theory concerning time travel, which he referred to as "Time Thrust". In 1976, NASA astronauts, Bill Hudson, Judy Franklin and Jeff Allen tested Stanton's theory by propelling their space vessel The Venturer, two-thousand years into the future.
