The Simian Security Police Force, also known as the Security Police, was the law enforcement of Ape City and also served as muscle for the Ministry of Science.
History[]
Marcus served as chief of the police force, and they faithfully served Dr. Zaius, the minister of science. Members of the Police also were part of the Gorilla Scouting Corps, whom were often sent on hunting trips by the Ministry to capture humans that they could experiment on.
When George Taylor, Zira, Cornelius, Lucius, and Nova fled to the Forbidden Zone, Dr. Zaius and a squad of officers pursued them, and briefly engaged in a gunfight on the beach. After Taylor and Nova left, Zaius had the officers blow up the Dig Site to cover up the evidence that Humans were once intelligent.
When General Ursus led the Ape Army on their expedition to the Forbidden Zone, several members of the police force joined his expedition.
