Raiding Party

Raiding Party was a short story printed in Brown & Watson's 1976 'Planet of the Apes' Annual, featuring the characters from the Planet of the Apes TV series.

Synopsis[]

Staying in the human village of Zingu, Alan, Pete and Galen's rest is interrupted by a human informer who tells Urko of the village's secret guests. By threatening to kill the population of the village, Urko persuades Virdon and Burke to surrender. However, Urko's treatment of the humans provokes a riot which can only be stopped by Zaius' arrival. Amid the confusion Virdon and Burke are freed and escape.
