Peter Ireland is an actor featured on the Planet of the Apes television series. He appeared in the episodes "The Surgeon" as Cleon, "The Horse Race" as Moro, and in "The Interrogation" as Urko's gorilla aide. Star Ron Harper also says that Ireland was sometimes his stunt double on the series: "Glenn Wilder doubled me, particularly on very difficult stunts, or intricate ones. I had at least two others: one was the son of the actor John Ireland and he was a very good double, he had blond hair and looked like me a little. And there was one other young guy."[1] Peter's father John Ireland also appeared in the series, playing Brun in the episode "The Liberator".
