Pansa was an orangutan from Ape City, and the right-hand ape of Councilor Tenebris. Pansa personally supervised the excavation of Hollow Cliffs to find the remains of Lieutenant Varus and thus convict General Aleron of his murder. The chimp Timon had been a scribe in Pansa's office until he too was sent to The Reef.
