Senator Nado is an Bornean Orangutan in the 2001 Planet of the Apes movie.
Biography[]
Nado was a guest at Senator Sandar's dinner party. He commented on his time in the rainforest and the human problem. Nado reflected on when his government nearly bankrupted itself because of its welfare-like nature in regards to humans. While an older and powerful orangutan, Nado enjoys the company of a much younger wife. He later was engaging in a wild mating ritual until Leo Davidson's group rushed through his den, scaring them both to leap onto the chandelier in fright.
