Keling was an evolved orangutan who appeared in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Firestorm. He was a member of Caesar's diversionary troop.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: Firestorm[]
Five days after the Battle on the Golden Gate Bridge, he joins Caesar, three chimpanzees, Rocket, Dallas and Sam, two fellow orangutans, Musang and Eastwood, and one bonobo named Koba as they distract a helicopter. Together they draw the helicopter away from the main troop, only to find more humans on the ground with both tranquilizer guns and regular guns.
Caesar ordered Keling and the other orangutans to carry the other apes on their backs as they were better at finding branches to swing from day or night, and they needed the edge since it was night time. Keling follows his orders and personally carries Caesar on his back as they make their escape. After the apes lose the helicopter and humans on the ground Caesar orders Keling to let him down and Keling obliges.
After regrouping with the main group of apes, Keling helps the apes in their search for food by telling Caesar that fruit can sometimes be found in metal or plastic cans made by humans. Keling eventually escapes the humans' grasp and joins Caesar's newly founded colony.
War for the Planet of the Apes: Revelations[]
In between the time skip, Blue Eyes mentions that he and his friends loved to pull pranks on him and at some unknown point Keling broke his arm and died of a fever a few days later.
