Actor James Pizzinato plays the role of Lab Tech #1 in the 2011 movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Pizzinato trained at the Lyric School of Acting and at the Kate Twa Studio. He was one of the leads in the film Candyland, which received critical acclaim at the Sudbury and Beverly Hills Film Festivals. His other credits include Life As We Know It (2004), The L Word (2005), Saved (2006), Blood Ties (2007), Aliens in America (2007-08), The Guard (2008-09), Fringe (2010), Shattered (2010), 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010), Caprica (2010) and Sanctuary (2011).
