Jack Kaplan is a writer who co-wrote, with John Barrett, three episodes of the 1975 Return to the Planet of the Apes cartoon series - "The Unearthly Prophecy", "River of Flames" and "Screaming Wings". He had previously written for Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, Goober and the Ghost Chasers, Shazam!, Hot L Baltimore and When Things Were Rotten.
