Hamid was the son of Lucan, a lawyer with a promising future ahead of him and her mother, Matra. One day, his father surprised the family by bringing home a human he had acquired from the commercial district. Hamid and his brother were the first to see the human upclose, as he stepped out of the cage in which he had been brought to their home. They named it Bolo and by summer, the human had become a lively companion. The siblings included the human in their daily games, and he would join them for dinner, eating alongside the family.
As the years passed, the siblings developed a bond with Bolo that went beyond that of a typical pet. Bolo had become more than just a pet; he was a part of their lives. Summers and winters passed, Bolo was a fixture in the household. He was a good company on long evenings to his fathers and then one day Bolo even slipped in the swimming hole to save Elco from drowning. Since then, there was no denying the loyalty and obedience that Bolo had shown. Later, Elco secured a place at the academy, and Hamid attended law school to follow in his father’s footsteps. For Bolo, this was difficult due to the bond he shared with their adopted brothers, and soon after, he fell ill. Although his father, now a member of the council, secured the best medical care, the diagnosis was grim. Maltra and Lucan made Bolo as comfortable as possible until the end. Although Elco visited their parents´ home the day after Bolo passed away, it is unknown if Hamid also learned about his foster brother condition and visited him.
