The Gorilla Scouting Corps, nicknamed the Hunt Club, was a legion of Gorillas that hunted feral Humans on the outskirts of Ape City.

Background[]
Led by Marcus and Cerek, they hunted human herds outside of the Forbidden Zone. Those they didn’t kill were sent back to Ape City for experimentation by the Ministry of Science.
Planet of the Apes (1968)[]
After finding a herd of feral humans, George Taylor, Thomas Dodge, and John Landon encountered a scout group of Gorillas led by Cerek and Marcus. They trapped several humans in nets and killed several more with guns. In the chaos, Dodge was shot in the back and died, Landon was captured during a scuffle at a cliff, and Taylor was shot in the throat, temporarily muting him, and was captured with the other humans. Afterward, the Gorillas brought all the captured humans to Ape City,
