Biography
Not much is known about Furaha's early life except that he was born in the wild, watched his father hunt monkeys for food and was captured by humans before being released by Caesar. Caesar later assigns him to work with another wild born named Rafael to look for food for his fellow apes while the rest of the apes continue to hide from the humans. He later became one of the first apes to help teach Caesar and the rest of the apes how to hunt for food.[1]
After the humans believe they are dead, Furaha joins Caesar's newly built colony and makes a life for himself. While out scouting with Koba and Grey, they found a human car on the road and investigated armed with spears. They discovered the humans inside were already dead from the Simian Flu and reported this to Caesar. After seven years, Furaha spotted a group of humans arriving from the coast and reported it to Caesar. Caesar decided to leave them be and the humans disappeared the next day.[2]
During the duel between Caesar and Koba, Furaha watched as they fought each other for leadership when an explosion shuck the tower and Furaha was trapped with three other apes under some metal debris. Caesar and Blue Eyes manage to lift the debris off them and they start moving to safety when Koba opens fire on Caesar with an assault rifle and Kuraha shields him with his body, taking a bullet for him. Furaha died protecting his king and his body falls to the bottom of the tower.[3]
