The Flooding of the Coastal Bunker was a succesful mission by Mae and Noa to flood the Coronado Bay Complex USSS to prevent Proximus Caesar from gaining access to the technology stored within.

During the Simian Flu Pandemic, the American government began storing various stockpiles of technology and weaponry to survive the tumultuous period. The bunker was eventually abandoned and the technology there remained untouched.
Many decades after the Human-Ape War and Caesar's passing, a bonobo named Proximus Caesar arose as the leader of a coastal clan of apes near a former military bunker. Considering himself as Caesar's proxy and seeking to advance his clan of apes with the technology inside the bunker, Proximus resorted to violent conquest of other ape clans to amass a large ape kingdom.
