Potential Sequel	Director of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Matt Reeves said that if the next films are successful than they will consider doing their own version of the original.	Planet of the Apes	Set in the year 3955, where intelligent apes dominate the planet, and humans have been reduced to mute animals, having the intelligence of modern day apes. Astronaut George Taylor arrives to discover this world.
Potential Sequel	Unknown if this will ever get remade or if the current Planet of the Apes series will have any reference to intelligent humans living underground. Unknown if the new series will end with the Earth's destruction.	Beneath the Planet of the Apes	Set in 3955. Astronaut Brent is sent to find Taylor. An underground society of mutated humans are discovered. The film finishes with the Alpha-Omega bomb destroying the Earth and sending Corneluis, Milo and Zira back to 1973.
Potential Sequel	Most likely will never be remade, as writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver said they don't plan to have time-travel in the new Planet of the Apes series. But with Matt Reeves in charge things could change.	Escape from the Planet of the Apes	Set in 1973. Corneluis, Milo, and Zira arrive in "present-day" human run Earth. Milo is killed. Corneluis and Zira are treated as celebrities, until it is discovered that Zira is pregnant. Zira secretly gives birth to her child, Milo, later named Caesar, in Armando's circus. Corneluis and Zira are killed by Dr. Otto Hasslein, and he kills an ape baby who they took from Armandos circus, but who Dr. Otto Hasslein thinks is their son. Milo is actually with Aramndo, and speaks at the end of the film.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes	Set in the year 2016. Details the origins of the Planet of the Apes and the revolution. Genetically intelligent chimpanzee Caesar is raised by Will Rodman, than ripped from his home and abused and starts a revolution. Apes become intelligent through a drug. Set in modern society.	Conquest of the Planet of the Apes	Set in the year 1991. Details the origins of the Planet of the Apes the revolution. Led by a chimpanzee named Caesar, who was raised by a human, Armando. Caesar is intelligent because his parents were from the future. Caesar is taken from his home and enslaved by humans. Apes become smart because of slavery. Set in a dystopian future.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes	Set in the year 2026. Set in post-apocylaptic world (for humans), where a virus has wiped out 90% of humanity, and civil war and anarchy has caused further chaos. The surviving humans take refugee in the ruins of San Francisco. The humans are led by Dreyfus who are bent on the apes destruction. The apes are meanwhile beginning to create their society, led by Caesar who has a Council of Apes ruling the Ape Kingdom. Most likely will end with a battle between the humans and the apes which will decide the fate of the planet.	Battle of the Planet of the Apes	Set in the 2020's? Set in a post-apocalyptic world (for humans) where nuclear war has caused the downfall of humanity. Mutated humans live the ruins of an unknown city. The "Governor" of the mutants, Kolp, is bent on the apes destruction. Other surviving humans live amongst the apes as second class citizens. The apes are led by Caesar and an Ape Council. Ended with an ape vs. human battle where the apes were victorious.
