Dylan Clark was a producer of the 2011 movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the 2014 movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Clark spent eight years as executive vice president of production for NBC Universal Pictures, supervising such films as Dawn of the Dead (2004), Friday Night Lights (2004), Public Enemies (2009), Couples Retreat (2009), Green Zone (2010), Ridley Scott's Robin Hood (2010) and Paul (2011). In October 2009, Peter Chernin hired Clark to run the film division of his new production company, Chernin Entertainment. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was the first movie made by the new company, as part of a deal with 20th Century Fox.
