Larramie "Doc" Shaw is an American actor who appeared in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in the role of a chimpanzee named Ash. Nicknamed "Doc" by his grandparents, his first major role, after appearing in TV commercials, was as Malik Payne in the series House of Payne.[1]
