The Attack on the Eagle Clan was a raid led by Sylva against the Eagle Clan under the orders of Proximus Caesar.
Background[]
Many centuries after the Human-Ape War and Caesar's passing, an ape named Proximus Caesar arose as the leader of a coastal clan of apes near a former military bunker. Considering himself as Caesar's proxy and seeking to advance his clan of apes with the technology inside the bunker, Proximus resorted to violent conquest of other ape clans to amass a large ape kingdom. Before this, he ordered an attack on a village that housed the Order of Caesar, a society of ape scholars tasked with preserving the original Caesar's teachings and legacy. Proximus also ordered a massacre on an expedition team of humans who were trying to find a deciphering key from the bunker, leaving a woman named Mae as the sole survivor.
Battle[]
While searching for Mae, a group of Proximus' enforcers encountered an Ape Warrior named Oda. Though they succeeded in fatally wounding him, Oda was able to kill all of them. Soon, Noa, another member of Eagle Clan, stumbled on the scene and found the dying Oda. After he succumbed to his wounds, Noa hid when he saw Sylva and Lightning arriving with other Apes. Lightning found Mae's towel, confirming their suspicions she was near. They soon noticed Noa's horse and used an electric prod to follow it back to its clan.
Noa pursued on foot, until he finally arrived to see his clan's village ablaze, and his people being terrorized by the Masked Apes. The Apes killed and stunned members of the clan with their electric prods, and tied many of them up, as well as killing the clan's elders. As this happened, the clan leader, and Noa's father, Koro, was releasing all of the eagles in his tower. Noa met his father at the top and assisted him in releasing them. However, Sylva had followed Noa up the tower and began fighting him. The fight ended with Noa falling from the tower, and Sylva killing Koro. Sylva and his apes then rounded up all surviving Eagle Clan members and had them all taken to their Colony.
Aftermath[]
By the next morning, the injured Noa awoke to find the Eagle Clan's village in ruins. After burying his father, Noa promised to find his clan and bring them home. He then set off into the ruins of Los Angeles, where he came across Raka, an orangutan hermit who was the last known member of the Order of Caesar after the latter's friend was also killed under the orders of Proximus.
