Alex Guimarães is a comic book colorist known for his work with publishers such as Marvel, DC Comics, Dynamite, and Valiant. His first contributions to the Planet of the Apes franchise were as the colorist for the Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern and Kong on the Planet of the Apes crossovers by BOOM! Studios. He later returned to the franchise to color Beware the Planet of the Apes.
