Production Timeline[]
- January 28: Actor Daniel Keough is born in Chicago. Keough appeared in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes playing the role of a Jailguard.
- March 10: Actor David Watson is born. Watson played the role of Cornelius in Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
- June 18: Actor Michael Stearns is born in Nebraska. Stearns played the role of Jake in Battle for the Planet of the Apes.
- July 18: Actor James Brolin is born in Los Angeles. In March 1966, Brolin appeared in a ten-minute screen test for Planet of the Apes, playing Cornelius.
- August 5th: Actress Natalie Trundy is born in Boston, Massachusetts. She would go on to play several characters in the POTA mythos, including mutant Albina, human Stephanie Branton and chimp Lisa.
- September 19: Songwriter and actor Paul Williams is born in Nebraska. Williams appeared in Battle for the Planet of the Apes playing the intellectual orangutan Virgil.
- November 22nd: Comic writer Roy Thomas is born. Roy will go on to become Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics from 1972 to 1974.
- December 3: Actor Tony Mordente is born. Mordente (possibly) featured in the Planet of the Apes TV series episode "Tomorrow's Tide".
