Production Timeline[]
- January 11: Actor Felix Silla is born in Italy. Silla played a Gorilla Child in the 1968 Planet of the Apes film, and is also credited with stuntwork on the 1973 movie Battle for the Planet of the Apes.
- January 19: Actor and stuntman Joe Canutt is born. Canutt worked as stunt coordinator on Planet of the Apes, was stunt double for Charlton Heston, and played a primitive human who fought with Taylor.
- July 27: Bruce Surtees is born. Surtees was Director of Photography for the 1972 movie Conquest of the Planet of the Apes.
