I hope not. Not everything needs to be remade. The new movies are good cos they're reimagining, not a strict retelling. Also, in KotPotA, they can talk fluently as far as I can remember. Or it's like 70% English and 30% sign language.

You clearly cannot take a joke. It's a PARODY. The Simpsons have been doing parodies for decades. It's hilarious! I love it. Obviously the original Planet of the Apes wasn't a musical. Pretty sure most of the things the Simpsons parody are things the directors/writers are fans of anyway.
