Okok, we don’t have any info atm about what’ll happen next, but there’s likely to be at least another two films to make a trilogy, and we’ll be sure to update the wiki here as soon as there is any new info.

Okay, this is my own entry for the August 2023 Census of the Planet of the Apes wiki. This is also kind of an example of what you should try and make yours look like if that’s okay.

Try to make your census entry similar to mine (not in the information, just layout) and please do not add categories about personal stuff such as your favourite character or film, but if you can think of any other categories related to your wiki information and about you that isn’t related to the actual content of this wiki that it is okay to add.
Hi everyone! For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m JFR (you can call me James, JFR, JJ, or Junior idm) and I am an admin here at the Planet of the Apes Wiki Fandom. Along with @Evolto001 @MagicManky and @Kingdevo215 i help to manage our community here, and I try to make edits as often as I can. I’m online at least once every couple of days and am excited for the new KotPotA film and hope it will breathe some life back into our wiki.
Anyway, what I’m doing today is just asking for anyone who is a member of the wiki and comes on throughout April to please comment below, and just fill in some info about yourself, such as what your name is, your age range (such as 16-25 or 45-60) and how often you come onto the wiki. You can add any extra information that you would like to add. Please do remember to do it when you come online, so that you are part of this census if our wiki as it is to give me an idea of how many people actually use the wiki and how regularly you guys come on.
I’ll add my own census comment, and I’ll lock the post at the end of April or going into the start of May so that everyone who responds to the post comes on in the next month or so rather than afterward.

Interesting. That’s population-wise though of course, but it would be interesting to know how it would impact technology because of the loss of power and that after the simian flu’s outbreak. Personally, I don’t think humanity would ever recover from the pandemic because even if humans were to breed and the species would survive, the lack of structure and social development would mean they were less intelligent and would incapable of bringing back technology or turning the power back on.
The second option was meant to say “it rounded up the first trilogy well but a sequel would be good”

Also, imo we should just leave the Original films out of KotPotA (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) and think of KotPotA as a continuation and/or future for the CE universe.
The original pentology were in a completely different world or universe or whatever you want to call it.
Same with the 2001 film.
@Alaspire he’s talking about the CE and Original films having a completely different set of characters with the same names.
Similarly to what Mats said, Bad Ape supposedly learnt off other humans who would shout at him and abuse him. Obviously considering that Bad Ape never took ALZ-112 or ALZ-113, he didn’t suddenly develop any extra intelligence. This does make it a little unbelievable possibly, but I don’t really question it since there is a few different ways it could be explained.
Eg. Simian Flu viruses could intellectually boost apes if they were exposed to them?
Or maybe he was just a particularly clever chimp anyway who could listen and try to act like his masters, and eventually achieved it. It could also be that Bad Ape’s masters tried to train him to talk which may have helped him learn, but idk otherwise.
